What to Expect:
"Crip/ped and Queer/ed" is one workshop in the Crip/ped Sexuality series, and focuses on the intersection of and interactions between disabled and queered sexuality and sexual expression. The workshop is split into three parts:

1. "Crip Sex as Queer Sex" A guided discussion about the ways in which crip and queer sex and sexuality resemble and shape each other.
2. "Crip & Queer, Camp & Drag" After sharing Carrie Sandahl's Queering the Crip or Cripping the Queer? (2003), we will discuss the ways in which both disability and queerness are performed and how crip drag and camp can highlight important and uncomfortable truths.
3. Crip Personification To close the workshop, we invite you to create your own cripped drag character! This activity is part collage, part small-group discussion, and part writing.

As with all Crip/ped Sexuality workshops, we'll send you home with a goody bag full of contraceptives, resource information, and a free toy!
